[Taiwan is back!]

24 hours of travel after bidding farewell to my stateside home, Taiwan has arrived.

It burst upon me with it's humidity and warmth; an atmosphere full of smells. It's covered in a myriad of squiggles that I once again cannot comprehend, yet enjoy. The foreign sights, though now familiar, have become almost fantastic by comparison with my homeland, so fresh now in my thoughts.

There is a pineapple growing on our front patio. A box of pomelos sits on our dining room table and a bag of passion fruit is in the frig.

In keeping with this theme there are three occupied bunks in my room. There are three girls, three laptops, and twenty-eight sets of Uno. *cheese*

Now the three girls will mount three bikes and ride at least three miles to a public pool in Caotun. After our swim we will proceed to the soup dumpling shop where we will purchase three orders of the little darlings.

I'm so glad Taiwan is back.

It's too bad that Taiwan can't just come and visit you while you stay in the States! : P

Glad to hear that you arrived safely!
